Well this morning the car wash ripped off my S2000 Aerial (stripped threads from the car part of it) so i was wondering if people think a shark fin stylee aerial replacement would look half decent (ala BMW's) or just cack?

I think the BMW stylie shark fin may look a tad pants, have you considered the Mk V golf fin......looks like a blade......not sure what the roof profile is like....may work???

If I seen one on a car I'd think it was one of the fake numbers from eBay.

If you don't use the aeriel it wouldn't cost the earth to have it smoothed off, Audi style looks cool IMO.

I think new cars have it fitted under the windscreen or something, maybe ask some others who have done it?

Personal opinion - but I think it's a bit naff. I think shark fins only suit certain modern car designs, I think it would cross the line from subtle to tacky and I think Toledo's are best left reasonably close to standard.
