Have had this Toledo since 2012, but been surplus to requirements for the past couple of years and was parked up.

Pulled it out over the Christmas holidays to see about getting it back on the road, so pleased to say it is sitting ready for MOT on Thursday.

Modifications include
Hybrid turbo
Remap
Fully polybushed
Bilstein Shocks
H&R 50mm springs
312mm front brakes
256mm rear brakes
Cruise control
Armrest
Rear spoiler

Work carried out to get it back on the road
New discs pads and calipers all round
Heater matrix and heater blower replaced
2 rear ABS sensors
Coolant temperature sensor
Clutch and flywheel
4 new Toyo Proxes
Front right fog light replaced
And a hell of a clean!

Its first bath in 4 years

So got it MOT'd at last.
Had it booked for Thursday week ago, and had planned to take it into work, and nip out for test. Got 2 miles down the road, and thought the brakes were binding, stopped and got out to look, drivers disc was glowing red! So turned and headed back home. (Live 50 miles from work so wasn't for chancing it). Presumed the flexi was bad after sitting, so ordered a new one and fitted it last weekend. Made no difference, so pulled caliper off and all seemed free, so built back up and still sticking.

Was starting to think the ABS module was playing up after sitting for so long. Ordered another new caliper from motor factors with little hope that it would work.

Fitted new caliper, and all worked fine! When comparing calipers the first replacement was ever so slightly smaller, and stamped 260mm diameter, but the same type of caliper. Difference was only noticeable when sat side by side! Replaced disc and pads again on drivers wheel as they had got the heating, and left ready for test.

Took it into work on Wednesday and got a cancellation, and passed with flying colours!

Now to start clutch replacement tomorrow!

Great news on the mot, car comes up well seeing that it's been parked up for 4 years. I take it you stored it in a garage?
