Hi all!
Fairly new to the forum and haven't posted much but made a bit of progress with my beeza
My 1st car was a 1.2 Corsa C which I thought looked pretty smart when I finished with it
How I bought it:
:|
How it looked when I sold it:
After owning that for 2 years I moved onto my current Ibiza. When I bought the car it had suffered at the hands of an elderly woman so had some pretty serious damage to the rear quarters, but this was reflected in the price I picked it up for
Its a 1.8 20VT FR in Zenith grey, has 47,000 on the clock currently after 6 months of ownership.
From the beginning:
Completely standard as you can see but with the addition of some dents in the rear quarters.
First things first was to sort the damage so a week later and it came back fresh, and then de-badged the boot, keeping the FR.
Pioneer CD player keeping with the factory dash colours
Next was to give the engine bay some bling so set about polishing the inlet manifold
Bushes were a bit squeaky so got the front end fully polybushed
Made an instant difference to the drivability of the car, handled so much smoother.
Compulsory LED's all round
Next on the cards was to de-wiper. Had to get creative as it was well stuck on there...
Had this on for a while but then got bored of it so took it back off
Picked this up for £10!!! still haven't fitted it yet though
Next up was some wheels... Picked these up silly cheap, Ibiza Mk5 SC alloys in need if a refurb
Set about re-furbing them myself as I did with my Corsa alloys, came out nice
Started heading in the direction of performance next with these bad boys:
Audi 312mm set up with Federo DS2500 pads, HEL braided hoses and Gulf Racing 5.1 fluid.
20mm spacers
And now to reveal my colour scheme...
Wheels wrapped in Toyo proxies and on with the brakes and rear spacers
De-restricted pd160 intake was next
Nice little interior touch that comes in handy, centre sun visor
UK legal pressed plates
N112, N249 and SAI removal...
Black mirrors and grille surround
Coilovers were next, only cheap JOM's for now whilst I save for better ones lol
Can also see I painted the front 'S' black too in the 1st pic
More purple!!!
and finally picked this up rather cheap Milltek sports-cat, brand new cat-back section on order as we speak
List of what's been done so far in my 6 months of ownership:
Engine:
PD160 intake
SAI / N249 / N112 Removal
Milltek Exhaust with High Flow Sports-cat
Brakes:
Audi 312mm Callipers / Disks
Federo DS2500 Pads
HEL Braided Hoses
Gulf Racing 5.1 Fluid
Suspension:
JOM Coilovers with Ford Puma Drop Links
Front-end fully Polybushed
Exterior:
Ibiza MK5 SC Alloy Wheels
Purple Callipers
Purple Rocker Cover with Polished Inlet Manifold
Gloss Black Grille Surround and ‘S’
Gloss Black Mirrors
Boot De-Badged
De-wipered
Tinted Reflectors
UK Legal Pressed Plates
Plans:
Engine:
Everything else for stage 2+
Forge FMIC
Forge 008p
Creative Motorsport TIP
Suspension:
Whiteline RARB
SeatSport upper strut brace
Exterior:
Gloss black roof
Gloss black numberplate backings
Cupra R splitter
Think that's about it, probably things I've missed though. I'll try and keep this updated as often as possible
Thanks for reading (If you did )
