You think the Intercooler could be the restriction?
feck me thats spiked now boost wise... eak!
deffo a major difference to the other actuator.. We could'nt get more than 20-22psi before?
looks to be holding 18psi at high revs - which is normal k04 flat out

Its certainly made a difference lol. Its not often it spikes that high, but it seems to be holding 24psi up to 5krpm now. then nose diving down to 16 by the redline, which is why im wondering if its the intercooler causing a restriction? Yeh 22 was absolute maximum even on spool up.
Yeh Im glad Ive done rods lol. Did some logs running Water injection last night, ambient was 3' and the highest i saw was 17' which makes me think intercooler again.. but even on the same MAF I logged 216g/s Picking up my new maf today hopefully..
I did a pressure test today in the charge pipe, I'm getting 26psi spike, holds 24 dropping to 20psi on the redline. Does this sound ok?
thats not so bad.. I bet you have a lot more torque now mid range!
It certainly feels it. Replaced the MAF yesterday, did logs this morning and logged 225g/s in 3rd. and I have ordered a wells cooler
Welly not wells... Looking at the logs @4360rpm I saw 376.6nm = 277.1lb/ft

List is a bit old me thinks as think hollie with an audi TT is now 1st / 2nd
I will hopefully be climbing that list shortly somewhere near the top, on paper 1st is possible but in reality well..... Time will tell

How much more boost can you get it running safely?
previously I ran it to 35psi and 9krpm... on its smaller turbo . Only 25psi used so far

I will crank it up when its running on its new hotside as I have the vvt to map in yet... so will make more time to explore its potential before turning it back to sensible (tractable) level. (which surprisingly, when I used the full boost briefly at the last race, it did'nt spin up and fired down the straight like a missile)
Cool stuff Bill you will surely always own the number 1 spot because if anyone gets close you can wind the boost up

whats "safe" nothing given this is a race car... and gets driven flat out when it gets driven at all.
Most tractable power is probably where I am now, given the small dry race last week, and the few times I employed its 25psi it hooked up extremely well. no wheel spin, which was a nice surprise.

Lupo + a little more timing... still pulls no CF's at all.
Oh dear so does that mean the lupo will knock me back off as quickly as i get in the top ten
possibly.. Depends if I have time or inclination to stick lupo back on the dyno (unlikely)
