    lol rules broken the owner of said dyno cannot be no 1 its not right lol

    and we all know the cars only got 100bhp but you fiddle with the parimeters on the dyno lol

    epic car cant wait to see it on full boost in the dry

    power is whatever I want it to be as we know..

    race after next I am entered for..
    will be on a tial hotside then vband for the win... no bolts, no gaskets to undo.. (hopefully)

    Are you changing the manifold then Bill ? I take it you were impressed with James's set-up or just sick of bolts / nuts failing.

    I would say I'm hoping for number 13 but I've had enough bad luck already, lol. Least things are starting to look up now though ;)

    not changing my full-race manifold no.. going to make an adaptor plate for it and weld that on to convert to vband

    sick of bolts & gaskets yes. every race car I know of has issues with housings warping, coming loose etc etc. Design it out seems like the right option to me. Had tial done bvand hotsides when I went gt35 on full-race, I would likely have gone that route from day #1. You have to change direction when you realise the design is flawed.

    race car duress is nothing like road car usage.. much much harder

    Bill,

    What has most helped you combat having lots of lag using a GT35,as I assume being a race car you don't have too much of this?

    Being fwd must make getting power down nice and challenging! What's your thoughts on fwd verses 4wd when going for this sort of power?

    4wd obviously can use the potential of this power.... but with it comes weight..
    I race in a specific championship which regulates is to road tyres so this is the effective limiter for the turbo cars... tractable power.. not ultimate power.

    My engine build spec this time is higher compression, so inherantly its now more eager off boost to get going.. but its inevitably laggy vs a smaller unit.
    mapping boost delivery progressively is key.
    I have vvt fitted now which when I get time to map in should also help get the lower end to pickup sooner.. (theory) - we will see.

    on its max power it can spin all its gears in the dry.. thats fwd for you

    on a 0,6x hotside 370-380bhp but they run so very hot....

    Do you think this would also be the case for a 2868 hta in the 0.8x hot side housing ran at a similar power level? Reason I ask is im just about ready to order a turbo and something in the back of my mind is telling me to go for a t3 3071 even though it won't be pushed to its full potential rather than running a smaller t25 fitment turbo to its limit.
