As I wrote about this CAI http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AIR-INDUC...d=100033&prg=10670&rk=3&rkt=4&sd=281070635628 and I got ITG Maxogen
Its time for pics now
I followed Marshall's recommendations http://www.audi-sport.net/xf/threads/s3-mtc-intake-kit-in-white.193365/page-3

I wraped stainless steel ducting with alloy tape and cut one shorter

1. MAF housing didnt fit MAF sensor - there was obstacle, but I rasped it smooth

2. Bolt was too short and I used my own 6mm diameter and 30mm long with several washers to avoid silicone hose rubbing against engine

Just to add a little info from myself...

I had the MTC intake kit which i was impressed with, definitely felt a slight difference in pull and the sound was great! I was getting long term fuel trim of 5.1% (which wasn't bad considering other people with MTC's were alot higher and i didn't do that pipe mod thing to it)

I got Revo stage 1 on the car and bought the Revo intake to match. I thought the MTC intake was loud but this Revo kit wants to whoosh and chatter all day long! I love it, there's a noticeable difference between this and the MTC in the mid to top end of the rev range and it pulls much harder. The 1 piece pipework makes all the difference with this kit and all those joins in the MTC intake just restricts it. I am getting long term fuel trim of 3.1%

After this experience i've learnt to save and spend on the best. If you want to get the most out of your car from an intake, then go REVO :drive1:

Has anyone logged Lambda correction under full load with any of these intakes (Not looking at the LTFT as this is part throttle). I found mine drives nicer with the OE oval MAF housing than a round MAF tube like those supplied with aftermarket intakes.

What air filter did You use on Your MTC?
I spent fortune 2 years ago for Twintake (brand+price) vs. MTC intake and i must sell Twintkake for sandwich now :(
