Have TPS always been trade only? I’m sure I’ve had parts from them before but now they won’t deal with me without an account?

They used to sell to the public. But they've since tightened up on that. My local won't even talk to me now.

Any suggestions where I go for the turbo to manifold gasket with the 3 E16 torx bolts?

TPS allover country have tightend up, I have always had a "cash account" with them, went in a few months ago and was told, either register with us as a VAT registered company or buy from SEAT/VW dealer in future.

Has anyone experience of these manufacturers for the gasket and bolts?

Victor Reina or Fischer Automotive

Both have kits for the gaskets and bolts either side of the K04

I went for the Victor Reinz kit.

After soaking the 3 E16 bolts for 36 hours they all came out with the battery impact wrench. Much to my relief.

Gasket came out in 2 parts....
