:-o  Jay your my hero  this is looking seriously nice mate, nice choice, so when you going to sell it to me

Haha, not half as much as a hero you are(in the army right?) Cheers mate, Seriously needs lowering though. I'll sell it for the right price haha

this might be a bit controversial, but i'm thinking some shade of blue? as its the opposite of yellow/gold/orange

Good call, thinking I would need to get some other Blue accents on it though.

From what ive read there good but not great, I wouldnt use them to thier full advantage and if I was going to track it hard I would buy more expensive ones and set them up proper.

I'd be happy with springs, the H&R ones look alright but its only a 25mm drop on the front and 40 on the back. Idealy Id have 40/40 or 35/35 drop but will see.

I've not long had KW springs fitted to mine there ment to be a 35mm drop and imo it sits spot on and handles a lot better now.

New wheels look awesome, nice choice.

Yeh have a few pics, not very good ones though, need to add more now that the ride height has settled and the spacers have been fitted.

It's good to see a different wheel choice compared to the typical td pro race 1.2's that seem to be the popular choice on cupra's at the moment.

Seen the pics looks good. Getting my 35mm springs ordered today :D

Cheers, yeah the PR1.2s are everywhere,Can see why, very light and very good looking wheels. Just the gloss black isnt my thing. When I was up getting my Sparco's put on a very nice EVO 6 came in and he had two wheels he was looking at PR1.2's and some other much nicer ones. I think he took his wife and my opinion that an evo needs to have special wheels on!

your choice at the end of the day, coilovers usually give a better ride quality and they dont put the standard shocks under pressure like shorter springs do

Yeah I know, but the dampers and shocks are all pretty new, when/if they wear out I will get coliys to replace the whole thing :) I Had my fez dropped on 35mm Eibachs and The ride wasnt bad unless there was 4/5 people in it and luggage But I managed orite m the fez was much lower to start with too.

Hey alex,

Nothing picture wise, not got around to taking any and as the alloys are matt I need to buy some new cleaning/sealant stuff for them. So I got paid yesterday and purchased a few bits n bobs yesterday.

I Bought some lowering springs off Duzzamk5 from the forum. Hes a suspension techy and really knows hes stuff. I went and picked them up the other day, but im going on holiday in 2 weeks so I might not get around to putting them on until later. They are 35mm drop front and rear :D Cant wait to get them on!

Cars going brilliant still. Mates just got a renaultsport 225 with a full milltek, lightweight alloys BOV ect so when I get a chance Ill see how my baby 1.4 deals with it ;)

Gave the car a quick wash yesterday, but it rained before I could dry it so its not really that good a wash lol. I did however pick up so new stuff for my rims as the bilberry stuff I have will damage the matte finish. NOt arrived yet but will be getting some wolfsrim sealant for it. Got some IPA spray and gave the wheels a going over with that and some AG Tyre shine. Here are the results. Looks much better, hopefully the antistatic effect of the IPA will keep them a bit cleaner until I can get them sealed.

Also, just though I'd get a pic up of my suspension. Its red. hmmm... Maybe il get them powdercoated too before putting them on. Wont be going on for a few weeks, going on holiday so figure saving up for currency would be a better idea lol
