Wondered today where it got 90 kmph from giving me an alarm till I noticed a lorry in front with a max speed sign with red ring of 90 :). It seems the back of continental lorries confuse the image recognition due to the mock speed limit signs with the red ring sported.

It does read traffic signs with a high degree of accuracy as long as they aren't too high up on gantries. I know some people moan but generally I find it's ok.

Hint: You can turn it on if you have the Lane Assist camera and it wasn't in the purchased package of goodies vua VCDS / Obdeleven, although I bought mine came with trafic recognition signs. Handy on road works where the speed is temporary and doesn't tally with the inbuilt sat nav or it's been changed. Combined with speed warnings a handy way to keep within speed limits.
