not bad then' would be o to get another. fit the Triple R say on the bench and line it up etc then fitt to the car. just thinking would this way be easier.

That's what I did, however, it just does not fit well over the valance. The far left fin bends inwards, so perhaps their template valance is damaged.

I'll go with my new one and we'll make sure it fits for future ones!

Have to say, if it fit properly it'd look very, very good.

So I went down there today, hour each way.

They basically sanded down the "lone fin" so that it fit over a bit better, and also sanded a bit off the top so it can be pushed up higher. Holding it in place it did look better.

I've ordered some tiger seal, recommended by them, and will be bonding it again to one of the valances that I have. Will see if it's ok after that.

Fitted the splitter today, that was trickier than I imagined! Didn't want to use self tapping, so went with the bolts provided. Had to take the whole front bumper off, which is actually surprisingly easy. With it off the splitter went on very smoothly, and looks great.

Did they offer any explanation as to why the fit was so poor in the first place?

No explanation other than its tricky to make it a perfect fit.

Will take some photos of the process when the tiger seal comes through!

Got the tiger seal through today, so I've bonded it together this evening.

Fits on much more snugly now the lone fin has been sanded down. Also, definitely use tiger seal over any other plastic glue. Much easier to work with, and come tomorrow should see some good results.

And the splitter: took the front bumper off for this, definitely recommended. Makes it so much easier

Nah, looks the same as before. Don't know whether they had a special fibre glass sander though.

Fully bonded, also went round the edge with black tiger seal with it off the car to finish it off and hide and grey that might show. Looks nice and fits well, quite a bit of effort and patience required! Not as straight forward as the splitter

I bonded mine on using tiger seal, as I wasn't happy with the fit, at least it will never come off, It may be a lot as hassle to fit but its such an improvement on the original

this is mine
