    Hi all,

Firstly I apoligise if this has been covered in another thread, have had a quick browse and didn't find a sollution. I locked my car as normal but when I went to unlock the boot (double click) it's still locked. This has happend to me before and I got it sorted during a service. I was told the car was deadlocked and that could be rectified by putting the lock in a certain position with the key then doing this and that... the problem is I can't remember exactly what to do?!

    Any ideas?

    Cheers
    Bill

No sounds like normal I think.... I could be wrong, it just doesn't stand out as being off?

yeah like I said, mine's on a leon, so I don't know if they work using the same system.

Common issue with the leon one is that it just needs the actuator lubricating, although this fix didn't work for me, so I had to take the mechanism apart and noticed a little brass gear off the motor was sliding up and down the shaft that it was sat on.

ok, i'll note that. I think my Ibiza has some quirky combo that will unlock the mechanism...least I'm hoping so!!!
