If there's anyone not a million miles away from me thats a vcds whiz or decent mapper could you kindly drop me a message as ive a little job I want doing :D

This will either sound nonsense to you or you'll no what I mean lol... sure youve heard diesel's on tick over with exhausts. They sound crap like a hissy panting dog. Anyway ive seen someone changed vnt at idle and it sounded awesome just pure exhaust rumble

It needs doing in the map, not through VCDS

You adjust the N75 map to produce as little boost as possible at idle and it greatly increases the tone of the exhaust. You can try this with VCDS by performing a basic settings test that will cycle the actuator/N75 between 0 and 100% so you can hear what it sounds like, but it's just a test

So long as your tuner can read a copy of the current map, then it should be simply changing a few values. I'm not familiar with the Siemens PPD170 ecu, but on a PD engine running EDC its simple
