Turbo K04-001

Alright,

I am looking at uprating my turbo on my Ibiza cupra, I am only looking for
Something that will bolt straighten to the standard manifold for now. I have been looking at the K04-001 does any one have one or would recommend that there a good buy, also what sort of power would i be looking at as I would like about 250 bhp for now.

I have k04-001 on my Ibiza. It's running about 250bhp. It's a nice drive but if you want real top end power. Your better off going for a hybrid vision. What ever you do don't, I repeat don't buy a cheap k04-001 off eBay! Try a turbo company like CR turbos. They charge about 650 to 700 for one.

Also if your gonna use this turbo I would recommend upgrading the injectors and maf to TT 225 ones plus a full exhaust system to get the most out of this turbo!

Thanks Joe, I already have the full exhaust system (miltex) and I was looking at a normal one not the hybrid but will defo look into it. If I don't do this then it will be a look into gt28 with a full rebuild just didn't won't to jump straight back into it with another project lol
