Have to agree with Brendy's suggestion of the Rainsport 1's. I've been running them for ages and haven't had any problems. They're not all that grippy when cold, but once you get a bit of heat into them they're fine.

i am having 4 new tyres fitted on saturday.

I have gone for the Pirelli P-zero Neros, As usall getting them from Elite in essex ( where else ) Luckily as some of you will remember i have 3 new 17" Cupra wheels sitting in my garage with new P-zeros on em, not bad for £170 off ebay !!!

So only buying 2, but the shie i have on the car now are quite scary, i went for cheapies last time round, and i tell ya its not worth it. Fingers crossed with a full valet on tuesday and a 40k Service on thursday she is gonna feel like new again. About time i lavished some attention on her,
