When you looking down at the head light connector from the top. Is the top connector positive or the bottom one?

I.m in the process of fitting hid lights to my car. Have installed the hid boxes, and I've come to plug the headlight bulbs into the connector the usually connects to the normal head light.

It has two pins, one directly over the other but with out a + or - to say wether it's positive or negative .

Any help befor it gets dark please

If you have good quality ballast boxes it will be OK to try it and see. If it's wrong nothing will happen, if it's right there will be light.

If you have cheap Chinese ballast boxes you may get smoke if it's wrong.

A test meter is the only real way to check. Something like this will be perfectly OK for checking 12v and continuity. clicky

Have you got any pictures of your car too mate. Will be good to see what you've done to it.
