Anyone in Lincoln with Vag-Com?

Looking to see if there are any fault codes on my Leon 1.6Sx that may explain my horrific fuel consumption, currently getting less than 300 miles per tank regardless of how or what type of driving I do. Think even the Cupra people get better than that!!!

Cheers, James

I'm just after ideas really, seems bad that I'm getting what works out at about 25mpg. Just wondered if there are any faults on it. Had a look for leaks and never any pools on floor after its stood overnight

I'll have a wait and see if there is anything a little closer but may have to take you up if car carries on like this! Cheers anyway mate

I'd have thought there would be one too, the ecu still needs to know how much air is going through. Any other ways things I should look out for to see if its that?

Its running fine power wise, feels like it always has. Idle hunts a little occaisionally, only by 200rpm or so and not very often but it is noticeable when it does it

hmmm, if it did any of these i would have said likely to be maf, other fueling problems could be fuel filter (when was it last changed? how old is it?) or lambda sensors could be on way out, mine was pants on fuel when a lambda went

Its 4 years old but only covered 30,000miles, unless fuel filter gets done as part of servicing thats never been changed. I'll see what it shows up when I get the codes read anyway! Thanks for the help, may contact you about getting it on your vagcom in the near future too if thats ok

Cheers
