Hi all...been years since i've been on here now!
OK, so I have a PD130 '02 ibiza sport 6L model...i have a win XP laptop with a known working version of vag com 311.2 and obdII lead.
The problem is when i try to load any module, it attempts 4 times but fails each time.
Ignition is on...also tried with the car running. ODBII plug illuminates to show its connected...ports are all setup correctly on laptop etc. fault is definately not the laptop or lead...it works in other cars.
so...any ideas what i need to look for on the car to check why it won't work? must be a wiring issue somewhere?
an interesting point to note, is my car doesn't start as it should (turns over abotu 6 times before actually starting), and according to my independant seat specialist, the fault is logged with the crankshaft sensor...however, replacing this, makes no difference...so they are also assuming there must be a wiring fault here too...could these problems be linked?
