you don't need VCDS to do that, its just an option with the menu

Code:
Programming the Auto Lock (vehicles with Easy Connect)
–
Select: control button
Systems or Vehicle systems > Vehicle settings > Locking while driving

Auto Lock/Locking while driving
- If you select on, all the vehicle doors are locked at speeds above 15 km/h (10 mph).

May be able to pull something out this weekend if I don't get called to work, most lighting is done by adaptations and not long coding. An idea of what you are trying to achieve would be helpful.

Hi Adaam,

If you need additional info here are the scans I did after taking delivery of the vehicle for the modules you're after.

That should help can I ask what kind of car yours is like spec and that?

Mines is an SE with Tech Pack incl LED lights, with regard to lighting I enabled the following:

1. Cornering light with Fog Lights (will only work with headlights on either Manual or Auto)
2. Both Fog Light illuminate on reverse (again headlight need to be on)

Both these options seem to be removed for LED headlights, I've just enabled them.

Regards

Got my 13 plate Leon SE with tech pack a few weeks ago, and am keen to make some changes. The two main things would be to activate the rear DRLs and the passenger mirror reversing dip.
My local garage has VCDS and has agreed to try to implement these changes if I print out and bring the instruction guide with me.

Has anyone else managed to make these changes on the same model, or has anyone had any problems doing so?

Thanks in advance

Bought chinese copy of VCDS 12.12 and used "cracked" software. Everything seems to be working OK till connecting the cable to the car.
When the cable is connected and I run "test" module, then VCDS software changes from registered to unregistered/not authorized and therefore I am basically not able to do anything (even full scan)

Has somebody else had same problem? How to fix it?

Was wondering if it had auto updated. My suggestion would be completely uninstall and start again. What OS are you using?

nope, no auto update was done
tried win7, xp

i previously used original drivers, can this be a problem? after uninstalling the drivers win does not recognize cable correctly (in device manager it has ! mark and is listed under other devices)

Bought new chinese cable - works ok :)

Maybe a stupid question - but is it possible to apply original (or modified) coding after doing some changes? For example is it possible to import the auto-scan log file? if yes, then how?

There is no automated way to re-apply all the original codings in one go. You would need to copy each of the long coding values from the Auto-Scan you took before you made the changes and then manually paste them back into and apply them to each module, one at a time. You can also find a log of any changes you made in the "CodingLog.TXT" file under the "C:\Ross-Tech\VCDS\Debug" folder.
