Video streaming

What's the best way and is this possible to stream movies to a tablet/device in the back from the infotainment system with SEATs? I know obviously you can store the movies on the tablet itself but if there is not enough space can you put them in the car on the HDD and then stream it over WiFI and therefore control what's being watched?

Your unit won't have the SSD in it that's been taken off the Seat range (Plus) in the UK as far as I can see, deemed a luxury item. The media sharing with the Seat media control app is more about audio. You put phone / tablet in wifi hotspot mode. Either way irrespective of the car I'm sure you could turn a device into a media server. That's what you are after a portable media server for the back or just let them download what they want on each device before the journey.
