I was wondering if anyone has had their Leon Cupra (more specifically the 300 SC) roof wrapped with black vinyl? I have a Monsoon Grey SC and was wondering if it would look good or a bit naff. I’m also torn on having the badges changed from chrome to black, different opinions from friends and family and for some reason I care what other people think about my car

Badges would look good in black against the grey car. Not so sure about the wrap on the roof though...

I was tempted to get a clear wrap on my front end (to protect from stone chips) until I was quoted £1,300

I’ve been quoted less for the entire car..!

Apparently, it was more expensive because I had asked specifically for a wrap which protected the car from stone chips (presumably a bit more heavy duty)...

That's really annoying!! Maybe it was that self healing stuff that repairs itself when it gets hot!?

Yep that’s exactly what it was..!

For £1,300 I’d expect it to self heal and clean my car every weekend!

The badges would definitely look good and personally, I think the roof would too. I had an astra h sri in grey (albeit a bit lighter tjan monsoon) and that had black roof as standard (pan windscreen was an option and the rest of the roof ws black to match) and I did all the badges in black and loved the look of it.

Things like that never look good on their own but get a few accents and bits in the same colour and it all starts to come together.

Got my roof wrapped a couple of weeks ago, Hexis gloss metallic black, cost £150 at Revolution Rides Sheffield, well please with it.
