Manifold looks good. First part looks like a JBS manifold but than modified to a T4 (?) joiner?

Some progress this weekend. Let's keep the color as surprise still, at least until car is running.

End of the story, at least for while

We got engine hardware and oils etc right. First start up, no spark and one hour later we notice that friend of mine forget attach the ground cable ner of ECU. Now car runs but lifters are very noisy. We did run engine apprx. 1-2min max and then it died. Was super hard to turn with wrench, so we did take valve cover off. It was completely dry and cams were stuck.

I have max 1-2 week time then I have to take car out of my friends garage because he needs to get urS4 there for winter. I don't have enough money to get new head, and still i need to find out why oil flow to head is blocked.

[:@]:censored:

worst case scenario is that I will take the car to my bros garage 350km away and left there for unknown time

Last night we spend to looking what was the problem with oil feed. Discovered that cylinder head anti-drain back valve was totally stuck, so it has to be the reason.

2 days fighting with car, first hand polished bearing cap, got some advises from one specialist. Cams turn nicely on head, then all parts back on place, timing on marks and wtf. engine wont turn. We did take 3 times everything off and still nothing. Then got advice to take cam angle to wider and it worked engine turns nicely.

Then starting engine again and only result was wet spark plugs. Then friend of mine how owns cylinder head repair shop and builds raceporting etc. Came to visit and check. He notice that cam timing is totally off and cams was on marks.

So we start to take cams, belts etc again off, and then some reason we decide that let's check timing gear, surprice timing belt gear chock was broken and gear was approx 20deg off. After lifting cams off we notice that cyl 4 center intake follower was way lower than others (haven't notice earlier, even looked many times and checked those).

After removing intake manifold destruction was clear at leas 3 of center valves was totally bended. So we rip off the head, and have to say that it's pain in arse when lifting with turbo and exhaust manifold still attached. We took cylinder head apart and now it's again head workshop waiting is it doable or not.

Have to say now I'm quite f**** fed up with this.

Some progress, car is moved to other garage for body fitting. Super slow and some step backs again. Like alternator gave up, end bearing was totaled and there were some oil leak. Also lots of fighting with new exhaust.

So if some one is interested here's new colour and what is cars situation at the moment

Monday to MOT let's hope that car works fine. I have drive it only 1-2 miles but seems that upgrades made turbo spin way too well. Basically 20% pedal press made boost go 0,7-0,9bar under 2500rpm. Have to go again for custom mapping.

Saturday went on the rolls. Result was what I wanted, 285hp and 464Nm. I think quite well for small k03h.

Have been driving now good while and have to say that smoothness of the tune is something unbelievable. It's kinda "booring" and cool at the same time.

I have been planing new intake manifold but I don't want to buy new super expensive so been lurking if I could find used good one. Lucky I was out of money because I almost bought Skoda WRC intake manifold (that would be so awesome to have) but it was 1000€

Looking good. Only thing is the blue collor behind the foglight grills. Looks much better if that's black.
