Water Pump Not Working

Noticed other day that when I turned the engine off, the water pump was working away like usual. It was changed dure the cambelt change.......

Could it be an issue related to the sensors that I apparently need to change

Are you saying that the pump that normally runs when you turn the engine off is no longer working?

This is the secondary water pump IIRC, separate from the one that would have been changed with the cam belt. First thing to check is your fuses on top of the battery if that's the case.

Yup, that's what I'm saying! Is the secondary water pump not the same one as the water pump you change during a service?

Edit: re-read your response

Mines always comes on and stays on for a while even if just switched on and off straight away,

not sure if its supposed to do that but it does.

No dude, not the one changed in a service - the one changed is the mechanical driven one by cam belt. Secondary Water Pump is at the front of the bay, tucked under the front panel - I was taking pics of it's location at the Chesterfield Meet, although you weren't exactly paying attention :p

check that its getting voltage if not its the first fuse on the left on top of the battery, might look ok but its the contacts that burn out , this fuse controls the ... secondry w/pump,cooling fans and the aircon fan . i have bypassed mine because of this . sorry for the rant!
