water pump part number

could anyone tell me if this is the right part code for the metal blade water pump, cheers.

It could be along the lines , but I do know it starts 06A , but then you will have 121 as that denotes what page it is on ETKA so it will be 06A121 then the rest will be individual

i just rang up seat today for a water pump n timing belt kit for my car they said all thats needed to be replaced is the tensioner and belt as there was no price available for the idler pulley and the water pump with discount as i work in a ford garage was £167.79inc exchange, surley this cannot be right im sure ive seen them for about 50? where the best place to get one from?

Hi Mate
If you go to a dealer you will get the standard plastic impella`d water pump
If you want the uprated one you will need to go to GSF or Euro car parts
Dealers still dont class them as being a problem
Plus the OEM one is not metal
Oh yes and they are not expensive £25 - £30.00 + VAT ish

I got mine from GSF the part number off the box is: 06A121011E (Brass impellor) GSF part number for it is (17062) it cost about £28. Cambelt was about £15.

Yeah, i can't remember the part no's though, from memory the tensioner was the most expensive part was about £35.

Thats great help cheers mate, we have an account with eurocarparts at work but unsure on gsf, tho might still get some discount be trade if i order them through work, going to do the belt before i go to jabba for a remap, cant wait.
