Weird Creaking noise and advice on differential

Hi

I have an 53 LCR 225hp, and have recently started to notice a creaking noise coming from the front of the car. It's mainly at low speeds (under 15MPH). I have taken it to 3 different places now, and had my top suspension mount changed, and a new powerflex dogbone engine mount fitted, but it still hasn't cured the problem. Does anyone out there have any ideas what it could be?

Also, since having my transmission and gearbox fixed last year, I have noticed an 'overrun' noise - when in gear and letting off the accelerator (mainly in 2nd and 3rd gear) - it makes a whining noise. I have been advised from the last place that took a look that it sounds like my differential has gone. They also noticed lots of oil all over the place.

So my question is, does anyone know of a good, reliable place near High Wycombe that could take a look, diagnose the problems, and if necessary replace my differential?

Your help and advice is very appreciated as I'm getting increasingly frustrated that no-one knows what is wrong, and no-one knows where I can get it fixed!!

Thanks
Alex

Take a look at the alignment of the transmission mount, if this isn't spot on it could be putting side loading on the drive shaft.
Also you will get more vibration with the powerflex DBM

Cheers James - I'll give the place in Iver Heath a bell and go from there.
