Are the 19s heavier than your 17s? If so the steering will feel crap and it will be slower to accelerate, brake etc.

I have recently just took hold of a 2017 xcellence model, far too many spokes and small gaps to clean ,I am waiting on delivery (today) of -
18" Alutec singa black/polished face, 7.5J ET45. .......... have a look i think they look gr8 , will post pics later

IMHO going from 17's to 19's is a bad idea. I din't like the look of the 17's and specced the 18's when I had my 184FR. Personally I would not go any bigger than 18" on a FR. The !9's are much better looking and the ride is just about tolerable on a Cupra. Nevertheless, if it had been a factory option to have 18's on the Cupra this is what I would have chosen for practical purposes, I must be getting old, lol.

I agree, 18’s max on an FR, a poor ride and extra unsprung weight make 19’s less tempting.

I too didn’t like the look of the 17’s on the facelift FR before I took delivery, but since I took delivery I’ve appreciated the excellent ride and ease of cleaning and I’m even getting to quite like the look of them.
