What and where would I get this pipe?

So I've had a couple of error codes come on and i've narrowed it down and found the pictured pipe has got a split in it (it's under the middle of the inlet manifold) I've patched it up with some self amalgamating tape but want to replace it properly. Now I'm no mechanic so I have no idea where I would get this pipe, would it have a part number? Also the metal clips that hold it in place, I can't figure out how you undo them?

Wish I could see the clip better as it could be a little flat blade screwdriver or side cutters to cut it off as for getting the pipe maybe TPS

Those clips are a bitch to get off, they are the original ones fitted in the factory. You basicly need to get a screwdriver in the "U" shape bit and lever the thing apart, or use side cutters to cut it. Being as you are replacing the pipe, this is probably the easiest option.

As for the part number. You will find it here somewhere, it's a matter of trawling through and finding your engine code. http://www.oemepc.com/seat/ then TPS as 'Yellow FR' says.

That’s all part of the PCV system. I had a similar split and replaced the whole lots of pipes under the manifold. I took the manifold off to do it. I wouldn’t want to mess with those pipes without removing the manifold though I guess it’s possible. I have a photo with part numbers somewhere. Will dig it out.

You might be better going to your local dealer or try Listers Worcester for delivery (see the parts section of the forum).
You might want to consider renewing all the pipes on the PCV. If they’re original then it’s likely they’re in a right state and will crumble/split in your hands!!!

So I finally got to test my taped up fix, the revs are sitting fine as they were high, i can't here any more hissing and there's no engine error codes but I still have no boost. Any ideas, I'm guessing it's still in limp mode but I thought the fix would have solved it?

Did you cycle the ignition off/on after clearing the codes?

No, I just started it and took it out for a test drive, I didn't know you had to?
This morning I drove to work and the turbo kicked in for about 5 min so I gave it some welly thinking it was fixed but then it went again.

If the car was already in limp mode, then sometimes you need to turn the ignition off and on again to clear it, even after clearing fault codes.

Are you scanning it with VCDS or just a generic OBD2 reader? Some fault codes (17705 being a common one that causes limp mode) are only shown by VCDS. When it next goes into limp mode, try pulling over and cycling the ignition and see if that clears it.

Either way i would replace your perished pipes before troubleshooting further. It could be that it's still leaking to a small extent under heavy boost/vacuum
