Drove 10 miles on the pizza cutter space saver as something nicked the inside sidewall of one of my front pilot sport 4s tires while still having 5mm tread left :censored:

Was going along a short stretch of road about to be resurfaced doing under 30 and no signs for raised ironworks

Lost the locking wheel nut in the dark after putting the pizza wheel on as well :censored:

I lost my locking wheel nut for my focus the other week , went to ford for a replacement and they quoted 215 to remove and supply new nuts surely yours are aftermarket and you can smash a socket over them to get them off

bagged fr , k1 rep , 19s

It's the round seat ones so can't do that and don't want to risk damaging the OEM 19" wheels still on

I don't think I can as it's not a pothole as such but raised ironworks as the surface was stripped.

Hole is the size of a couple of pencil leads at most but sidewall meaning the tyre is toast
Same thing......just claim....they contracted the work....I lost a gear due to a missing "ramp" road sign....you have nothing to lose

Try ebay mate , ive got the 19inch style pack alloys on my focus and they come off without a mark

bagged fr , k1 rep , 19s

Hoping the locking nut is still in the layby as it's not small and just off the road .Murphy's law states they will have put the new road surface down tonight and couldn't take pics in the dark of the road. Took a wheel pic when I took it off

Still bedding the helix clutch in. AKS recommend doing 5-600 miles of gear changes. I'm finding it difficult to do without giving it boost.

Today I'll be looking at swapping over to AKS gear link bushes.

Also booked her in to have the cam chain tensioner done.

Some shiny new centre caps for the wheels as the old S logo Seat ones had badly blistered and had to order a new dipstick as the old one was crumbling in my hand each time i did an oil check.

Haha Thanks @ZiggyEP3 that's what my journey felt like on the A1 lol I love that film, I could probably quote 90% of it lol

@Legojon I only got 37mpg this time... Got 420 miles out of the tank though.

@Maypack I'll take that as a compliment

Replaced the interior central locking switch so I can now unlock the doors from inside the vehicle and allow passengers in

This week, several rude words have been aimed at the car.:censored:

Firstly, on a couple of occasions it has not wanted to start, just keeps trying to turn over but not firing. Will go on the second attempt.

Rear o/s door has stopped working again. Has been fine for about 3 weeks since the “drill a hole and wd40 it” job and then a couple of days ago, it just stopped. Reluctant to take the door card off again as I broke 3 clips last time.

And today, I had a bulb out warning light come on. Middle of the day with no lights on. Got back to work, checked all lights and then it just went out all of a sudden:banghead: . Came back on again this evening and I believe it’s a rear inner sidelight.

That’s my weekend sorted!
