Where did you get it and how much. I don't know enough about this other than it will be useful

I got mine for £60, came with genuine Ross Tech cable and version 12.12.0 from a fella on eBay.. Tested it all out this morning and works perfectly even when connected to the internet, so the product is legit.. I think generally you pay around £200-300 for the lot from Ross-Tech, or you get the cheap china cables which only let you use VCDS Lite, whereas mine is the full version.

I would be willing to pay 60 but not 200. Is vcds different to vagcom. Sorry if that's a stupid question

You were very lucky to get it for that price, that's less than a diagnostic at a garage. Im assuming it was a used product and only one for sale?

I was the same mate, it was £54.99 I paid just checked it.

And all works perfectly, going to log it later to see wtf is up with my Cupra

i had one of them dodgy cables everything intalled properly everything was all good untill i tried do a fault scan.
