Well, the topic might suggest that I should have placed this question elsewhere, however, I didn't know where and so many people with knowledge in here :)

I have been reading different reviews on the golf 1.5 TSI evi, mostly due to get some knowledge about it - would be nice if that motor ended up in Leon at some point, as the Arona already have it, though not with a DSG - yet.

Does anyone in here know about what DSG gearbox is used with 1.5 TSI evo - DQxxx ?

I am myself a bit confused, as some places they say DQ200, but in the different articles, I see the DSG gearbox referred to as "the new wet-clutch", which confuses me, as I thought the DQ200 was a dry-clutch only.

I’d guess that it’s the new DQ380 wet clutch with 7 speeds, which seems to be replacing the DQ200 in VW and Audi vehicles.

The Ateca comes with the DQ381 7 speed DSG in its AWD incarnation.
