To install a bad ass sub install in boot please follow these instructions

remove spare tyre, tools and all the crap that seems to accumulate in there

add sub box

add side plate

Add sub

fit amp and connect all wires as needed

insert top cover

have a cheeky test play of the LEDs

insert amp access panel

and finally insert sub cover disc

removal is reverse of installation

now to find a new sub without a big crack down it
(its not as rattly in person and the iPhone cant pick up the sound properly)

Dismantled front passenger door and replaced door lock, then silicone-sealed the inner panel to the door. Bit of a hasslesome job.

Also did an oil and filter change.

Fitted 80mm silicone ducting into my airbox to replace the standard snorkel.

Adjusted cable tension of door handles as some were getting difficult to open.

Disconnected & plugged EGR vacuum hose. The engine light is on anyway so thought I'd try running without EGR for a while...

Sorted out the undertray fixings a bit better, it was sitting too low and catching on speed bumps after I changed the EGT sensor a couple of weeks ago. Also re-did the R badges again as the ones I put on earlier this year looked tatty really quick so used lacquer this time. Added an extra one for a couple more bhp ;)

Turbo fitted and all is good she sounds so different in a good way I guess. Took a while to fit as I have never tried anything like it before. Will get vagcom on it tomorrow and do some logs but all in all seems good :)

Yeah mine are a bit far gone for a coat of laquer.

I guess it's a caliper off job?

spent today replacing an electrical connecter i managed to destroy drilling through the spare grommit to run to silicone hose for the boost gauge. Easy job, just a pain replacing the disconnector box in such a small space...

Hope you re-sealed that box well, main area where water comes in the car

i did indeed Lee, used the remainder of the black silicone i had from resealing the doors... although i only touched the spare grommit i thought id do all of it given the proximity to the electrics there
