Got my car through it’s MOT, at first it failed because of shitty headlight bulbs, crap Euro car parts ones that were bent

Had the same advisory for like the last 4 years, cv gaiter deteriorating but preventing the ingress of dirt.

But now I’ve got a sort of vibration in the cabin I have no clue what that could be but car feels alright so f*** it

Yeah I’m so happy I did it,felt so wrong making the first cut into the bumper however

Wheels to be refurbed next and then we are done until after my holiday!

Yup it’s freaky making that first cut. Feels so wrong.
Top job though and defo best mod styling wise.

Changed the glow plug harness, as it was throwing an EML.
Had already replaced the plugs, but it was still throwing an EML, so the harness was next. Bit of a faff to get at the plug end of the harness, but job done, and the EML didn't come on this morning, so fingers crossed its sorted it

Yes mate I think your right. Seems to be fine now. Doing a full service on it in a min and am going to check everything, especially the carrier bolts. I'll post up some pics of the old disk's I knew they were on the limit but my god I was lucky not to have one completely crack. Rears are good but I'm going to do them.

Nearly had the front of my car hit by a c**t in his porshe sports car. He decided he was too much if a twat to pull in & wait for oncoming traffic at traffic lights so drove at me. Luckily his soft top was down so my choice words & bird were in his face:censored:

Eventually changed the Front passenger door lock this morning (made all the noise but no unlocking :banghead: ) ready for the MOT which it passed :) (last year it failed on the rear passenger door lock!!).

Not sure how you guys get your de-catted ones through, mine has full Milltek with 200 cell sport cats and took 20 minutes of idling then 5 minutes at 3000 rpm to warm up the cats before the CO was in spec. !!

Honourable mention for this YouTube video is due on changing the front door lock..

Well i picked up our leon ST FR mystery blue 2 weeks ago today, and some tit in an artic lorry was driving up a street not wide enough for 2 cars and as he was reversing out, hit my passenger door, it's booked in now on Monday for dents to be pulled and re-sprayed

Cheers, some scratches are down to the metal, they're not deep gouges but definitely metal showing, I just hope they can match the mystery blue paint? It's not an actual seat garage doing the repairs....
