The old girl has cost me a fair bit so far this month:

New coolant flange.
Front and rear pads
Tie rod end
CV boot
New o/s/r caliper.
A couple of coolant pipes
Exhaust clamp
MOT
Replacement instrument cluster

Total £700+, but she's worth it...

Next on the list, take her to badger5 for a full engine rebuild and new turbo.

badger 5 work will be well worth it but I suspect another expensive month (after you have saved up for it all).
Are you having the engine tuned or just getting it back into tip top condition.

Not me but the missus drove it back from work and the emissions amber light came on , wonder if this is the aftermath of fitting a decatted downpipe??

Fitted my new seat today.
As per usual,loads to mod.
First mod runners to fit side mounts.
Then fit subframe. Not just a five minute job.
Seat removal easy.
Loose fit subframe add seat. Sit in it. Knees hit steering wheel.
Get grinder out and reduce height by a couple of inches.
Re fit, add seat. Try it out all ok.
Then take all out.
Mod the subframe to take runners. Problem is they put plenty of holes right about where you want them. But about 5 mm out here or there.
Loads of measuring. Then drilling.
Then find you’ve measured to a different hole and you need to redo one of them.
Grrrrrrrr
Measure about a hundred times, drill another hole.
Bolt the subframe to runners,
Check it slides.
Must be square.
Fit back in place.
Bolt front.
Bolt rear.
Start tightening rears and snap the nuts off the retaining plate, which are meant to be welded in place!!!!!
They weren’t even tight when they sheered off!
Glad they broke now, as opposed to in a crash.
Seat would have been held in place with a 5 mm bolt at the front only.
Holy kumquat Batman!!

Bucket seat and Subframe. Continued...

Took my broken parts for my seat subframe indoors.
On closer inspection they weren’t welded bolts, just have a retainer which I fixed.
Battled with the seat still in place more or less and once plates were reattached correctly it became obvious that the subframe is about 10-15mm too thin.
Meaning one plate fits into the original runner but the other side is 10mm short of locating into the runner.
Long and short I’m going to buy longer bolts and sleeve them with poly washers. This should allow the plate to extend further away from the subframe, allowing it to locate.
Anyone fitting an OMP subframe will most likely have the same problem.

Mine had a p0684 code and after checking everything it turned out to be the glow plug control module adjacent to the pollen filter. But I don't know if all cars have that module in that posn. Mine is a 2005 150pd

Finally got round to swapping out the old style (and rattly) mirrors to the facelift ones that spudboy6 kindly sold me. I'd bought new black covers with the intention of getting them colour coded but now they're on I like them all black to be honest.

Also while the door card was off I fixed the window switch that somehow my dad had managed to pop the white window section through (the bit that lights up). Oh and gave her a long overdue clean too.
