My god I am a sucker for the audi nogaro blue from the s4... it makes me all giddy inside. My 2 favorite colors for the leon are this blue and the imola yellow also found on the audi s4 b5... yes i know im using the audi paint color names... sorry but gorgeous car! Wish my 4x4 20vt was that clean!

Got round to using the £50 dual action polisher (cheers Argos!) I’ve had sat in its box for over a year. Very impressed! Washed with chemical guys GlossWorx wash then used Chemical Guys All in One Polish and Sealant. Never been this clean ever.

Thanks mate. I ran out of time yesterday as I gave the Mrs RAV4 a good clean and polish too. I've got some of Wet Butter Wax to try out next time. (BTW Got loads of Chemical Guys products off a mate who's into detailing when I did him design work, I don't work for them :D )

Went to put my brembo pads and discs on only to realise I’ve no 7mm Allen for the callipers (so ordered one for tomorrow). Decided to swap my dogbone with the new one with powerflex bushes and found it wasn’t attached! See bolt on undertray

Then managed to shear off one of the bolts that held it to subframe. Couldn’t shift it so let some WD40 soak on it while I had a sulk. Came back and prised it out with a chisel and hammer and then got the sheared bolt off too (phew).

Those two 13mm bolts into the subframe nearly always snap.
The problem lies in the difference in metals of the actual dogbone mount and the bolt, not the threaded section inside the subframe.
The alloy corrodes and binds up around the bolts and obviously when you assert pressure on them with a socket they shear off as they're stretch bolts which have already been stretched to yielding point.
As you found once the mount is prised off of the remaining bolt stub you can almost always unwind it by hand from the subframe.

Bang on. I used some mole grips to turn it once or twice (think the corrosion was holding it) then I turned the rest out by hand.
