Nah just trying to give everyone a perspective of value and also the market out here is priced higher than in the Uk where you can get a Cupra R pretty cheap. Cars seem so much cheaper to buy in the UK than mainland Europe and I don’t know why.

yeah its crossed my mind several times to just buy a donor Cupra R from the uk. price difference is huge.

Likewise but you can almost guarantee it on these engines and I was travelling pretty damn quickly at the time so I'm expecting the worst tbh.

While you’re still in the EU it’s easy, and you just need to conform to UK laws like headlight reverse light and MPH change over. Then tax which is 20% unless you’ve already paid it in another EU country or you just write the bill of sale for 1000 quid haha

My insurance company would tell me to jog on, axa won't do import didn't clock that when I signed up... finished with them in Feb so I'll be looking for a good company to go with. Christ I can't even get recovery with them because the car is too old for them..

Out of interest because I'd love to own it....how much?
