What's the cost of a spare key for my Seat thse days,not overly bothered about remote,as long as it opens the car and starts up

It could be that not many people have looked in to it? Something I would have no idea about the cost of as it’s not something I’ve needed to look into.

No idea, but if you don't want to pay dealer prices, your local independent locksmith may well be able to cut and program a key, as can Timpsons.

From working at a couple of brands it's not actually a massive money maker. The blade and fob are ordered separately from factory and then mated and programmed so you have labour cost from dealer and parts cost from factory. All adds up.
