Had my LCR wheels refurbed a couple of years ago by a very good company based in Wiltshire. The wheels were powder coated, which looks great at first but offers zero scratch/chip/dent protection to the finish; I discovered this a couple of weeks after having it done!!
Anyway, nothing wrong with the service or quality of the finish as it just seems to be a drawback to powder coating.
I've lived with it for long enough and chips etc. have gradually built up through wheel removal for tyre replacement, among other things, and would like to have them re-done.
I want to go for the traditional spray painting option but it seems that most specialists are going the way of powder; can anyone recommend a good specialist that can still do a spray job?
