Hello... new to the forum, and my first post is to ask for information!

Got a new Leon Fr TDI, 6 weeks old, and lost a head to head chicken with a white van. I decided a kerbed alloy would be less painful than a written off side as it became obvious the van wouldnt move!!

So, as a result I have a nastily scraped 18" alloy on the front left, and was wondering if anyone knew of anywhere good and not too pricey to get a repair job done around Solihull/Birmingham ?!?!?

Thanks

I had alloy repaired on me old leon, after kwikfit kindly knackered one trying to get the nut cover off, then tried blaming me, sorted it out with a quick letter to head office, who paid for all the repairs, and sent the rude pri*k on a training course, but when the guy came round to fixup me alloy it would have cost about £40 for the job, not to bad, specially when its not my pocket being burnt, but that was bristol, im not sure of brum but i cant imagine its more expensive

I had a set of BBS alloys on a VR6 I had some years ago re-furbed by Lap-tab. Did a very neat job of it. Mind you they weren't kebed to start with, just a bit neglected due to their fiddly design and lazy previous owner.

I have just had a set of (BBS) VW Monza II alloys refurbished by a company called Pristine. These rims had quite bad kerb damage (not by me!) and were repaired well. Not too expensive either - £212 plus VAT for the full set which included diamond polishing as well as repairs to bad kerbing, removal and refitting, balancing etc.
