Where is the diagnostic port on an X-reg Alhambra?

I wanted to Vag Com mine today but had a quick look and couldn't find the port.

I found this info on the Web, haven't check that its correct, but no reason to doubt it as it was on a Audi/VW site.

On the MK1 its under the ashtray in the centre console.

On the MK2 Sharan Galaxy and Alhambra it is located underneath the bottom of the dashboard, in line with the fuse box access panel on the driver's side of the car. Stick your head under the dashboard and you will see the pink connector.

It is right, mine a mk2 and it was exacly where you said, Cheers Dave.

I had 1 fault code which was this:

17664 - Coolant Temp Sensor (G62): Open or Short to Plus
P1256 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent

I'll check again in a few hundred miles and see if it returns before I do anything about it.

this is a common fault across the vag range. usual part number on alhambra is 06A919501 around £23
