The miltek system (i think) gaves ya around 5-10bhp!? maybe! It does work extra hard tho if you get a remap that works with your mods, aka C-C Phase 2

jabba rr my leon 180 before they chipped it with just the miltek dp. it came up 190bhp. so for me a got 10 bhp from it.

I'd go for JBS and the custom code phase 1.

If you are going for items such as Downpipe, and exhaust, it may be best to go for the phase 2 instead to get a proper "custom " remap form JBS.

As for the remap, leave it for at least 3000 miles, and take it easy for the first 1000 miles. But do not be disappointed when you get it, beacuse at first the 1.8T is so tight and feels a little slow, that soon changes as it loosens up.

Anything 1.8T FR i have proabably done it or looked at it so just ask,

If you are gonna go for custom code and are looking into mods( induction kit, FMIC, Milltek etc) then its best to have these done first because apparently if you have CC2 done with mods and then get even more it will take another day and a half to re do it all again. Not sure if it will cost another£550+vat though.

Best for the most torque ?

Best for the cheapest ?

Best for the closest ?

Best for customer service ?

Once you have an answer for all of the Best for questions then you can go for your "chip"

I personaly use the Derv Doctor in Ashbourne He's not the closest or the cheapest but IN MY OPINION he's the best I PERSONALLY have found he's down to earth knows his stuff as he is a diesel specialist.He also workes closely with JBS therefore custom code and also forge. I have taken ALL of my diesels to him and I'm over the moon with the results.

In my opinion I would say that all of the maps come from variations from 1 map so it matters more WHO does it not WHAT they do.

There's also the advantage with Revo that you can easily switch it off using a SPS. I think you can do Custom Code as well, but you need a laptop and the right cable for that.

I have to agree.
Best is defined in so many ways and this question has caused soooo many arguments on forums such as this.
Not everyone has had dealings with ALL the remap company`s out there so they will reccomend what they have had.
Or if they have had bad dealings with them they will tell you to stay away.
With you being in Lincoln you are not that far away from us.
We have had people come up from London to get Custom-Code from us.
