I reckon there's less plumbing & pipes on a VR6 :)

The gearbox will cope easily, and they sound better.

VR6, Fully smoothed engine bay with as many pipes and things hidden as possible. Ow yeah and the super charger kits are cheap and give her some rollox

Yeah, that's what I was pondering. I know you said you got peeved off with turbo power delivery, so I would say vr6, but then they come rattier. Unless you're going for a full rebuild that is...

On the 70bhp less, how much power DO you need in a fairly lightweight motor???

But the VR6 is stronger, so the higher milage should not be a big problem. Plus the 70bhp will be easy to get back with a Jackson.

The VR6 will sounds VERY good... so it will complement the inivitable comp standard sound syste, :worship:

What are the prices like... if you don't mind me asking Mr.Pete.

Whats the weight difference? Wouldnt a heavy lump in the front make it understeer more?
If it's a show car the v6 would look/sound better tho.
