Which FR to buy? - Advice needed!

Hello all...

I've been an owner of the first 1.9 TDI FR for the last 5 years, thinking now of an upgrade!

I do a fair bit of motorway driving, id say roughly about 450-500 miles a week. So i'm obviously going to need a good, reliable model...

I was just wondering what you think might be the best model to go for? Any feedback on any of your own mk3's would be much appreciated!

Cheers

150ps is plenty rapid enough for everyday driving.
In a mix of A road and town driving, Im averaging 50 mpg and I dont tend to hang about...

Its also very smooth and refined on the motorway.

Id says its the obvious choice and will keep its value better than the 1.8 petrol.

If it's manual you are after go for the 184 diesel - already getting rave reviews and you don't lose that much mpg over the 150

Cheers for that lads, I was looking at a 3 door 184 earlier online, really good spec tech pack, few others. Looks potential!

Cheers again.
