Which oil for 98 Cordy SXE 1.6

Hi there, I want to change the oil and filter on my 98 Cordoba 1.6 SXE (100bhp AFT engine) and was just wondering what oil would you recommend for it? I've been looking at the Mobil 1 0W-40 Fully Synthetic for it, would this be suitable?

Pop into your local GSF and pick up some Fuchs 10W-40 if you don't mind using semi-synth (which is fine for your engine) for about £15

or they do a nice fully synth for about £20 IIRC

and if you say you're a member of the Edition38 forum, you should get a 10% discount
