Which Trackday tyres

Hi

Want to run 15" wheels for trackdays this year, what tyres would you recommend.

Should I try and get road legal cross cut slicks, would prefer to drive to and from without having to change tyres.

Can you also suggest a supplier.

Toyo R888's are a road legal semi slick tyre which is brilliant for standing quarter miles and track days. As they are legal means you can drive them there without the need for a tyre switch at the event.

Prices??? Maybe ask Bill (ibizacupra) as I think he's had / used them. Suppliers - these will be special order only and a fair wait as they are specialist. Don't expect them immediately.

Think you can get a couple of thousand miles out of a set of fronts if your lucky!

Toyo R888's are what I have run on with my ibiza... good tyres. 205-50-15
MrsB Lupo currently runs on them too...

Michelin Slicks off Clio Cup cars are awesome, but if on road suspension.... probably too much and they do take some getting used to.
