which turbo???

Hi all
soon im looking into getting a different turbo on my 110tdi and hoping to see around 190bhp, which turbo is a direct replacement, i heard the vnt20 from the audi a4 2.5 v6 tdi is a straight swap but im not a 100% certain, also what power can the 110tdi engine take before anything goes bang etc or need uprating

A Garrett 17/22 would be a good option. Has the exhaust side of a VNT17 and compressor side of a VNT22!!

ive a 150 turbo if thats any good?

or would a 150 turbo fit straight on etc? with no modifications as im only looking for around 180 -190bhp and that will suit me nicely.

The 150 turbo (VNT1749vb) will fit straight on. As I understand it, the 150 turbo can hold 22psi constant boost and about 27psi peak.

Agreed about the boost, generally remapped PD150's should have this.

My PD130 ran just over 29psi before I changed it

thats because you ran it on its limits, just before it was about to go pop
anyway where is the graph still for 202 on a standard unit

and thanks for answering my question, i think i may just hunt down a 150 unit
