with the auto wipers all you have to do is stick the wipers on the intermitent setting

Your right about the weather, I drove approx 5 miles on the motorway and it was filthy.
Done about 110 miles so far and now it's really dirty inside and out. Hopefully the mud flaps should help a bit.
It feels a lot faster than I remembered from the test drive, although been I've hardly been pushing it. I've been taking it quite steady.
Reversing in the dark is quite a problem. I'm pretty good at reversing, but visability is very poor and the frequently mentioned reversing light being poor.
Not much storage spece in the cabin, glove box being small etc.
Engines too quiet!
The Bi-Xenon headlights don't seem to be much better than my 1.0 12v Corsa ones, They are the same as the ones on BMW and Audi arn't they?
Apart from that, I couldn't be happier!
Cruise control is very good if your trundling along in a 30mph zone with speed camera's, you can set it to 30 and not worry about the camera's.
I havn't figured out the auto wipers yet.
Nor have I had a chance to try the Bluetooth.

Very pleased.
you need to turn light knob to AUTO then push wiper stalk down once (as if doing a single wiper swipe) then push stalk up once(as if on intermitant).

Hi everyone from Finland !

I registered here, cause I have ordered mine 24th January.... The color is yellow, Seat Sport sideskirts, bixenons, Nav, 18" orion black wheels. There is no car in stock, so I have to wait longer, maybe 8-12 weeks :headhurt:

In the meantime I have looking for the Cupra some tuning parts and wheels for summer, maybe remaped it soon and IC, full exhaust (supersprint), better air intake and LCD...

My first idea was that I replace turbo to ballbearing Garret and watercooling( + metanol) for the boost (Aquamist ), it will lower the heat and give more air for the engine, but now I think so that I could first Change only IC, exhaust and intake +
remap.

+ H&R Coilover suspension and H&R Anti-rollbars front/back

Any ideas for tuning the 2.0 TFSI turbo engine ? 400 bhp could be easy with better turbo and watercooled boost....:p One problem could be and its a fuelpump....It could be too small and maybe have to replace it.

Ordered the new Cupra a couple of weeks ago - started off being sensible(ish) and testing a TDI FR, then thought I should try the petrol FR (just for comparison!) and then the salesman mentioned that they had just got a brand new unregistered Cupra in if I wanted a quick go in it.... blown my budget completely away but hopefully I won't be worrying about that when I get it in March!!

I'm getting it in Inferi Black with Convenience Pack and iPod connector.

By the way, can anybody tell the difference between "Inferi Black" and the "Black Magic" that they use for the rest of the range - they both just look like Metallic Black to me!!

The inferi black is gorgeous!

Inferi black has a sort of aubergine hue to it, much more obvious when the sun catches it. It is quite subtle though and very nice. You'll see some pics on this site of it.

Black magic is just plain black, though metallic too.

Great news guys.

I don't know if you guys know but ages ago my old dad bought second hand a Shogun SWB. Nobody was every happy with it other than him. Being a small 2dr 4x4 it was very hard to get in an out of, and nearly every time it failed atleast one thing on it's MOT. It only looked like new because of all the cosmetic things he did. Plus when it was bought it was either broken into or involved in a prang because their was glass from what must have been the old rear window in what must be the ashtray.

But finally it was advised to get rid, as far as I know because it is getting to cost too much to repair everything.

And of all the manufacturers out there the two that he has his eye on is Nissan and SEAT. The SEAT models of choice is the Freetrack 4 and the new Leon. I saw the options he wrote down and it looks like, from a quick glance, one option is a 1.9 litre TDi for what I think is a little over £12.5k.

Is it worth him getting one and ordering it? The one we are going to is the one in Southwick in Sunderland. The one in Scotswood Road in Newcastle is a tad too far.

wrong choice of thread i'm guessing mate, maybe the mods can move it for you (then delete this bit).
what i can say is that the sales staff at scotswood road have never been anything less than excellent every time ive been in the showroom, the last time being yesterday. it would be worth the shortish trip.

Good idea. I will stat my own.

I could copy and paste the post into a new thread so all the mods have to do is delete that one, yours and this one.

Ordered today - Cupra in Inferi Black. Should collect it beginning of April.

Three cheers to the guys at SEAT Bristol, Andy and Tony, for all their help.

Disappointed that due to a foul up with the order I've had to wait an extra couple of weeks over what I was subsequently promised. The latest collection date I have is next weekend now (as originally indicated).

That said, the guys at Bristol SEAT have acknowledged the problem and loaned me a car for the two weeks. 'Take the silver one' they said! OK, it's a 1.9TDI, but it only had delivery mileage on it..... :D

I wish i have a Cupra Version but not , its really giving the highest price/performance value with its cost, if i had a Cupra the colour would be Candy White cause the perfect details seems cleary in black-white contrast, but Cupra needs All Wheel Drive like AUDI S3 i think so, maybe Cupra R version should have it.
