Hi Everyone

First post on here, but have been lurking several months on this (and related) threads as I have a MY19 ST300 DSG 4 Drive in Mystery Blue on order from Wessex Fleet.

This will replace my current MY16 ST290 DSG which is due to depart at the beginning of December.

I thought I may be getting one of the Week 42 coppered cars but I have been told today by Wessex that the car was built October 8th and is on its way to the UK -so I to have a "Franken Cupra" arriving!!

Can someone check what I am getting so I am 100% sure with the SEAT order number - 24245900??

Is anyone planning to map/tuning box a leased car? I did on my Golf R that pre-dated my current ST!

Hope to contribute more and get to meet a few of you - btw I am another "mature" member - 54 years young!

I have asked WF what the differences are??

I was promised on order it will have the Winter Pack.

I also think mine will be 7 speed DSG!!

How much are you paying BTW? Mine on a 9 + 23 is £226.80 plus VAT = £272.16 so a total of £8709.12 - I get £725.76 of that back in my VAT return so a net £7983.36.

"You are getting a MY 19 Cupra, the dealer has confirmed.

There are no differences between MY 18 & 19 other than slight exterior body tweaks."

Really....they don't seem to know much!!

By exterior.. they mean gearbox and winter pavk??? I’m confused.. lol

I’m on a 9+35.. 12,500miles, maintained at £308 per month

Haha yep!

Welcome. You'll find that you will receive more information on here rather than Seat CS. If you are <BW42 then it will be 6 speed DSG with no winter pack as standard. >BW42 will have the 7speed DSG and winter pack as standard along with the copper badging/stitching etc.

My JB1 has just come off of my 290 and will be going straight on the new one, once I have about 500 miles on it. The car feels slow with no urgency now its back to standard ha

Just ordered these for the blank buttons so I can lie to myself

Glad I'm not the only one that gets annoyed by missing buttons on fascias. Mercedes used to be best for hiding missing buttons. There was probably a different fascia for every combination of options on their cars.

Yeah, I'm planning to get my ST 300 4drive DSG remapped, probably in the new year, after it's run in
I'm expecting around 370bhp with a stage 1 remap, no other mods being a lease car...........

Would be wary getting a proper remap if your car needs to go in for any warranty work like engine troubles etc, will show a td1 flag and void warranty. That's why everyone uses tuning boxes instead until the warranty runs out.

Although I agree with the first part of your comment, I wouldn't necessarily agree with the 2nd part. There are plenty of people on here who have gone with a remap rather than a tuning box whilst still in warranty.

I've only ever had remaps with very good results and stayed away from the tuning boxes......maybe it's time to have a re-think
