I reckon that will be the Blackness Grey ones that are apparently being built this week for delivery next month.

Let me know what you find out if you chase them up !!!

I never know if I can fully trust what the dealers are telling me, they talk so much shite to get your money then it’s all downhill from there usually :(

Will do, I am the only person who has ordered one there, so that should work in my favour too I hope. My sales man is 99% certain I will get one. I have requested to have it on a 69 plate as it will be released so close to the new reg change.

Yeah good choice on waiting for the 69 reg and I admire your patience.

I just want one ASAP so went for the Blackness Grey one, but it’s not the greatest colour.
Black or Magnetic Grey would be better.

I’m also only person at my Cupra Dealer to order one, but they never mentioned anything about possible not getting one due to high demand

Just had a phone call to organise my delivery.

Booked in for the 7th June. Long two week wait now!

Did you order from a Cupra Specialist or a standard Seat dealer ?

I was told by the non-Cupra Seat dealer I originally ordered my Lux with (since cancelled due to lengthy delays) that he could order me a Cupra R ST, but couldn’t guarantee I’d get it as Cupra specialist dealers would get priority.

My local Seat dealer is a Cupra specialist and they told me they have already been allocated x2 Cupra R ST’s for their showroom.
So I ordered one of these assuming I’d get it pretty soon.

As mentioned in the other thread they also told me the Blackness Grey ones are being built first for May/June delivery and all other colours will be Sept/Oct delivery’s.

Ordered mine last month at my local dealer who is a Cupra specialist. Colour is Magnetic tech grey with sunroof and I have been given a build date of September! I might have it in time for Christmas

What's the blackness grey look like compared to magnetic grey? I tried googling it quickly but all images seem to be magnetic grey. I'm now curious.

My Cupra should be landing in the UK today. I've been told typically 7-10 days to dealer, can anyone vouch for that? Seems hit and miss with what people have experienced themselves.

See the pictures that KernelOkey has posted in this thread and also in the pictures thread.

They are the only ones I’ve seen so far.

Must be on the same ship as mine

My dealer is now saying early June - so fingers crossed they're all winging their way from ship to dealer

I was told 7th may it arrived in country and it would be 7-10 days until it was at dealership, seat themselves told me that. Lease company said that process would actually be 2-3 weeks, and I wont get paperwork to sign etc until it arrived at dealership as it needs to be registered first.

That happened this Tuesday, exactly 2 weeks since it arrived in UK. I have delivery booked for 7th June. So exactly a month from it landing to uk to delivery.

After seeing the pics I agree with you, I also prefer the magnetic grey. Like you've stated above the colour on their own webpage doesn't resemble it at all.

Mine must have been on the same ship as yours, it arrived in the UK the same time and got to the dealer in a similar time frame as arrived on Monday. My dealer told me about a week from arriving in the UK but ended up being 2.

Blackness Grey is a weird one. First, its not metallic.

Second it changes color depending on light. Looks better in person and every1 so far that has seen the car thinks it look amazing and really suit the car ( I agree )

Third, it feels sooooo good to have a paint that you dont see 400times every day

Oh man that's depressing! Who was your leasing firm? Wonder if going direct through SEAT makes any difference? The dealership promised and promised I'd have it by the end of May and that's one of the only reasons I signed for it. Hmmm disappointing to hear these stories to say the least.

Who's your dealer? I've been crossing everything for the last 2 weeks now :roflmao: can't cope with any more waiting. Don't know how you folks who have insane lead times put up with it to be honest. Some people wait 16 weeks for Christ sake, I think I'd rather not bother!

Thanks for this info.
I was thinking it looked non metallic, and although your car is fantastic, I was a bit worried if I would like this colour in the flesh after ordering one.

But as you say it’s better in person it makes me feel more comfortable:)

Leasing firm was leasing options.

I would suspect / hope that having it direct through seat it would be quicker. Depends if your leasing or buying through them I suppose. They have to jump through same hoops for lease i bet.
