I’m hoping so

Although it is described as 296hp I’m hoping for greater than 300. Fingers crossed

The GPF Golf R which is quoted as 296bhp produces more than 300 as standard. It's closer to 315. See the superchips readout for their test car. It's in their interest for the stock figures to be as low as possible too, no reason for them to claim more.

I'm sure yours without gpf will smash 300.

I wanted leather as well. Have it in my current car but sadly its not an option anymore. I gather the steering wheel is micosuede as well which is going to be a pain to keep clean. I dont have grubby hands but everything where your hands touch gets grubby over time. Only thing im glad about is that the heated seats are standard on the bucket seats. otherwise I would be choosing a different car manufacturer. Although I might have been tempted by the Cupra Ateca.

I don't recall the steering wheel as microsuede, that was an exclusive for the Cupra R, could be wrong though!

The copper detail just looks strange with the red and blue as it clashes. Maybe the reason they ditched it. There are two mystery blue near me in Edinburgh with the copper detail and I've definitely got the better colour and I normally get colour envy. Black detail would have been so much better on those two colours. Just my opinion.
You're totally correct on that. When those who'd ordered desire red as an MY18 found out they were going to be copper accented (luckily they were built without in the end and are the best blend of MY18 and MY19) I photoshopped all the colourways available at the time and the red looked by far the worst. In the flesh...I'm so glad mine has the chrome

I think I'm the only person in the forum who wanted a leather interior. It was the only reason I went for the Lux model as I really like leather heated seats. After seeing both interiors in the showroom it made my mind up further as for me the microsuede looks a bit cheap. The other stuff it came with was just a bonus. Have to say I'm loving KESSY too, didn't think I would.
I love the leather but I am slightly concerned how they will wear over time... the bottom seat part of mine are already starting to show crease lines/looseness, unless this is normal? Maybe I am just being paranoid.

Can you post a picture of yours currently?

Leather stretches if that's what you are talking about. This is perfectly normal. Leather wears significantly better than most materials. After 3 months mine look like this and I've not cleaned or conditioned them.

Posted above. What do yours look like, do you have photos? My last 3 cars have all had leather interior so I'm used to what's standard wear. Usually a bit of stretch and some ripples. Definitely should be no cracks/tears or delamination though.

These are mine after 1 month (roughly 500 miles). They are probably fine, me just being paranoid! Lol.

Nothing wrong with those. Just make sure you use some leather cream every 3 to 6 months to keep it supple and they'll last you the lifetime of the car. Leather will always stretch a little from new but this just makes them more comfy , like a leather sofa.

Is the Cupra on the flexible servicing or fixed?
I bought the service package so if it's flexible I've been dumb.

My car tells me it needs a service in 220 days (May time). Can that be right? I will have only covered about 5k miles.

I contacted the dealership and they responded with the below:

All Seat cars now come with Intelligent Flexible Servicing which means that the on-board computer will work out when the car needs a service.

From my understanding it takes into account things like journey length, driving style ect.
