or HUGE spacers which will cause clearance problems for sure.

WRX im not heaving a dig at you personally but the " All standard alloy's are p_sh " patter I think was brought on by the Max Power brigade.
I few years ago I stoped reading Max P because it was becoming too obvious as to how there advertisers where clouding the editors judgement. There where all ways makeing a song and dance about why standard wheels are crap and why we should all run about with 17"s and decked. What a load of cr_p
How many Car manfactors do you see advertising in these magazines ?
How many alloy wheel manufactors do you see advertising in these magazines.
At the end of the day I am probally out on a limb here but I like the standard Cupra wheels , I liked the white multi spokes that where on some of the 16V and I really like the wheels on my R
As WRX says getting brembo's would give you an excuse to require bigger and no doubt cooler looking wheels but It dosnt mean the standard ones where sh_t . once to fit the bigger wheels youl need to drop it so it dosnt look like a tractor , then its gonna grab the lines on the roads every time you cross lanes , the tires are gonna be dearer and its not like your being unique as every other tom d_ck and harry is doing the same.
I think the truth of the matter is even if the cupra came with 17"s people would still want to change them to something else , but would that mean any less of the standard equipment wheels ??
