Its well over due for me to put a readers ride together about my pride & joy. I've enjoyed so much reading about the good things the rest of you have done i'll try and put a bit back with the experiences i've had with my motor and if it helps anyone then great.
I bought the car new in September 03. The car is slightly unusual in that i was told it was the last of the 210hp's to be registered and hence it is registered as a 53 plate when at that time the first of the 225's were turning up.

Hybrid K04 c/w Forge actuator
Blueflame turbo back exhaust complete with 100cpi cat
Proalloy race intercooler

Custom MOFO Maff housing
Turbosmart Eboost Street Boost Controller

Thanks Guys, i've never posted a pic before, i think i've got it :D.

The torque if left unchecked will spike extremely high, but my mbc is set at 15psi and so cuts in and stops the spiking. I will slacken the mbc a little and spike a bit more so long as it doesn't go past 330lbs thats the most my arse will allow me.

The car is holding only 1.35 bar at the red line with this mbc set up and a 10psi actuator, but if i adjust the actuator to 14psi, remove the mbc and then request more boost with the vtune software i can hold 1.55 bar to the red line but it would be foolish to run a car on stock rods.

I'll get some pics of the car up over crimbo once its clean.

You found me;), no milf links yet though.

The car is generally fueling well as the ideal is 12.5 for best safe power. Between 3000 - 4000 rpm the boost spike makes the mix run a little lean, i have since upped the fueling a little with lemmiwinks to resolve this.
The Tip is a 3inch version just made up from the forge parts bin which i rate highly.
This is my maff housing http://www.modshack.info/bamm.htm
The combination of TIP, enlarged descreened maff housing and Jetex gets me more boost that would otherwise be unavailable with the normal aftermarket TIP's and stock maff housings.
Some of these mods are not rated by some on here but i swear by them. I can achieve high boost levels with low actuator spring pressures that would otherwise require a 1 bar actuator pressure.
One problem i have experienced is overboosting on the rollers during the higher gears whilst on Rolling Roads which is really frustrating as it hits temporary limp during tyre warm up. I'm currenty running a Forge unos mbc in place of the n75 which may cure it as is not so on/off as the stock n75 is. Failling this its off to Bill for a full custom Jobbie but more important jobs demand the cash and i'd consider a custom remap as a finalisation stage of my build and not a midway stage.
This cold weather has made me realise the importance of quality grip and some suspension / arb tweaks may be happening sooner rather than latter.
I've been very close to selling the car during various stages of ownership but i'm enjoying it at the moment and want to reach 350 bhp on the k04 which most people will roll on thier backs at but thats part of the attraction of modding to me. The high flow mani's due to be released will make a big difference to my setup.

Hi gaz good to talk to you. I'm watching your thread with interest as you upgrade to the larger tubby, should be a real beast and don't let that illusive actuator bracket grind you down. Looking forward to more meets at llandow.:)

check the wales section there is another in feb
Thanks for the heads up, if i've got a manifold fitted i will run again. The thread you pointed me to the other night was very helpful in resolving my rear jetwash mystery (not working). After checking above the wheel arch and up behind the tail gate....all was good , i pulled the jet out of the rear wiper and let rip with the wash, all crystalised washer fluid spewed out and proceeded to clear a blockage. That will teach me to use it more often.

Anyway back to car stuff.

Do you have any details for the Forge 3" TIP?
Is this a standard part or was it made to your spec/design?

It's good to have a plan and mine has always been to get the most out of a KO4 that I can.
A bit like you plan but different.
I truely believe that 300BHP is possible from an OEM KO4 and hope to prove it one day.

I'm sorely tempted to get a Forge actuator
